Spicy Garlic Shrimp Linguine

Add some zest to this pasta dish with Johno's Spice Blend

Spicy Garlic Shrimp Linguine

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Linguine Pasta

  • 1 lb Large Shrimp Peeled

  • 4 Cloves Garlic, Minced

  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil

  • 2 Tablespoons Johno's Original Spice Blend

  • 1/2 Cup White Wine

  • 1 Cup Heavy Cream

  • Fresh Parsley, Chopped for Garnish

  • Grated Parmesan Cheese for Serving

Instructions:

  1. Cook linguine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, saving 1/2 cup of pasta water.

  2. In large skillet, heat olive oil over medium high heat. Add minced garlic and saute until fragrant, about 1 minute.

  3. Add shrimp to the skillet and sprinkle with Johno's Original Spice Blend. Cook Shrimp for 23 minutes per side, until pink and cooked through. Remove shrimp from skillet and set aside.

  4. Pour white wine into skillet and let simmer for 1-2 minutes, scraping up any browned bits from bottom of the pan.

  5. Reduce heat to medium-low. Pour in heavy cream and stir to combine.

  6. Add linguine to skillet and toss to coat in the creamy sauce. If sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water a little at a time until desired consistency is reached.

  7. Return shrimp to skillet and toss to combine. Serve with garnished parsley and parmesan cheese.
